1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of mjasthestics.co.uk and your engagement with MJ Aesthetics ("we", "us", "our"), a beauty and creative studio based at Whalebone Lane South, Dagenham, Essex, RM8 1QH.
By using our website or booking any of our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
MJ Aesthetics offers the following services:
- —Photography (portraits, events, headshots, editorial)
- —Makeup Artistry (individuals, bridal, groups)
- —Lash Extensions (classic, hybrid, volume, infills)
- —Podcast Production (per episode and monthly packages)
- —Event Decoration (intimate, celebration, and grand packages)
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
3. Bookings & Deposits
A booking is only confirmed once we have acknowledged it in writing (via message or email) and any required deposit has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable and are required to secure your appointment or event date. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking and deducted from your total balance.
Full payment is due on the day of the appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 48 hours notice
You may reschedule at no extra charge. Deposits are carried over to the new date.
Less than 48 hours notice
The deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
Same-day cancellation or no-show
The full session fee may be charged at our discretion.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a full refund of your deposit or the option to reschedule.
5. Pricing
All prices listed on our website are indicative and subject to change. Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking based on your specific requirements.
We reserve the right to update our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed and deposited.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best experience, clients are responsible for:
- —Arriving on time for their appointment
- —Disclosing any relevant allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities before their appointment
- —Ensuring the accuracy of information provided at the time of booking
- —Keeping their contact details up to date so we can reach them
7. Photography & Media
We may photograph our work (e.g. makeup, lash extensions, event decoration, photoshoots) for use on our social media, website, and promotional materials.
If you do not wish to be featured in our promotional content, please inform us before your appointment. We will always respect your wishes.
8. Limitation of Liability
MJ Aesthetics takes all reasonable care in providing our services. However, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from:
- —Pre-existing skin conditions or allergies that were not disclosed to us
- —Reactions to products used where no sensitivity was indicated
- —Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. travel disruptions, illness)
Our liability is limited to the value of the service purchased. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and branding — is the property of MJ Aesthetics and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
